Limit children per application

Set the number of children a family may add.

What happens, step by step

1. 1 Start on the admin Dashboard; click Enrollments, then Manage Forms.
2. 2 Choose Drafts, then click Edit on the form’s row.
3. 3 Click the Form settings gear; choose Options.
4. 4 With Family Application enabled, set Maximum children per application.
5. 5 Choose 1–50; click Save Changes.

Frequently asked questions

Can I restrict a family to one child?

Set Maximum children per application to 1 while retaining the family form structure.

How do I ask something separately for each sibling?

Open Form settings → Options → Per-child fields and add the question there. Increasing Maximum children per application changes the number of children, not the scope of canvas questions.
