01Every day's work, remembered

Go deeper than a completion checkmark.

Record exactly what a student recited and how it went. New memorization and revision sit together, with the range, result and correction counts teachers need for tomorrow's lesson.

  • Log a full juz, ayah range, selected passages, page range or lines.
  • Track mistakes, tajwid mistakes and hesitations separately.
  • Record Pending, Pass, Fail or Incomplete for each recitation.
  • Move between days to review, add or correct a recitation record.

02Your method, your tracker

Start with Sabaq, Sabqi and Manzil. Make it yours.

Every Hifz program has its own rhythm and terminology. Organize the tracker around the way your teachers teach, with categories that work for the class and exceptions that work for an individual student.

  • Create and rename categories with their own colors.
  • Reorder categories to match your teaching sequence.
  • Add a one-off category for a student who needs a different focus.

03Guidance that carries forward

Keep the teacher's insight with the lesson.

A difficult passage, a stronger review, a reminder for home practice: comments preserve the things a result alone can't explain. Give the next lesson—and the family—a clear starting point.

  • Add daily comments alongside the student's Hifz record.
  • Use the parent email action when a family needs a direct update.
  • Review previous days and distinguish an absent day from a recitation result.
Daily records keep recitation outcomes and teaching context together.

04A shared commitment

Parent acknowledgment closes the loop.

Families can review the day's Hifz in the mobile app and acknowledge that they've seen it. Teachers can see the acknowledgment state, and the Parent Engagement view helps staff find families who need a reminder.

  • One acknowledgment per child per day, with a 30-day catch-up window.
  • The first linked parent to acknowledge satisfies that day's acknowledgment.
  • School-local evening push reminders help families remember to check in.
  • Filter engagement gaps to focus on the families who need follow-up.

05See the journey unfold

Turn daily recitation into meaningful progress.

Look back across a student's weekly history and see the patterns in results, mistakes and revision. When it's time to share a fuller picture, generate a Hifz report for the date range you need.

  • Review passed, failed and incomplete days with recitation-quality statistics.
  • Explore a weekly view of work across the student's categories.
  • Generate PDF reports with recitation detail, teacher notes and summary statistics.

Can we use our own Hifz categories?

Yes. Create, rename, color and reorder categories for a class. You can also add a category for an individual student.

Where do parents acknowledge the day's Hifz?

Parents acknowledge from the MarkTrack mobile app. One acknowledgment covers the child for that day, and the first linked parent to acknowledge counts. The web tracker and Parent Engagement report show the acknowledgment state.

Can teachers record comments and detailed mistakes?

Yes. Daily comments provide written context, while each recitation can record mistakes, tajwid mistakes, hesitations, its range and its result.

Can we share progress as a PDF?

Yes. Generate a Hifz report for a chosen date range, including summary statistics and the detailed recitation history.
