Set the hint displayed inside an editable question’s answer input.

What happens, step by step

1. 1 Start on the admin Dashboard; click Enrollments, then Manage Forms.
2. 2 Choose Drafts, then click Edit on the form’s row.
3. 3 Hover the question; click Edit field.
4. 4 Change Placeholder; click Done.
5. 5 Wait for the saved confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the format of every field?

Regular questions offer input types. School, program and children selectors use their dedicated Options controls.

Can I mark this answer as required?

Open the question editor, select Required, then click Done. Protected identity questions keep their required status.
