MarkTrack for large Islamic schools

The MarkTrack Team · May 8, 2026 · 3 min read

Once you cross a few hundred students, two dozen teachers, and a full-time office, the tools that worked at fifty kids stop working. Spreadsheets break, group chats forget who is in them, and one principal becomes the bottleneck for everything.

MarkTrack is built for that scale.

Multi-school under one roof

A lot of K-12 Islamic schools run several programs side by side. A full-time academy on weekdays. A weekend program. A Hifz academy. A Sunday school. MarkTrack treats each as its own school inside one organization, so you keep separate rosters, separate gradebooks, separate billing, separate teachers, while finance and admin sit on top of the whole thing.

One organization, multiple schools. Separate rosters, one finance team.

Granular permissions for real org charts

Larger schools have an actual hierarchy. The principal sees everything. The academic director only touches grades and classes. The billing admin only touches invoices and payments. A teacher only sees their own classes. A parent only sees their own kids.

MarkTrack ships role types for all of these out of the box. You can also create custom restricted-admin roles that scope down to a single school, a single program, or a single function.

Gradebooks that bend, not break

Public-school gradebooks assume your year looks like quarter, quarter, quarter, quarter, then a final. Islamic schools rarely do. We let each teacher set their own categories, weights, and letter scale. A Hifz teacher can run a checkpoint-based scheme. An algebra teacher can run weighted homework, quizzes, and tests. Both work in the same school, in the same gradebook engine.

Enrollment without the email back-and-forth

Build the form once, link it from your website, and applications flow directly into a review pipeline. When you accept, the student is auto enrolled in the right grade, the parent gets the welcome email, and the family invoice goes out. Re-enrollment is one click per family, not a fresh paper round each spring.

Family-level billing

Three children, one invoice. Sibling discounts apply automatically. Recurring monthly tuition. Late fees, payment plans, partial payments. Stripe Connect routes the money to the school's account directly.

Apps for everyone, including the iOS holdouts

Native iPhone and Android apps for parents, teachers, and students. Multi-school accounts, push notifications, and you can switch which program you are looking at without signing out.

Built for full-time academies

We work with K-12 Islamic schools that have outgrown their old SIS, and with new academies setting up for the first time. The platform scales with you, and the AI import tool brings your existing roster, classes, and historic grades in without a manual data-entry project.
